My legs are still shaking, but it was so worth it.

As I drove past the local Chevy dealership today, I decided to stop in and take a look around. I've never seen this car in person before. It is absolutely stunning!

The guys at the dealership are all as excited about this car as we are, and they love talking about it. They were all very nice, and didn't think it was weird that a car enthusiast like me just wanted to check it out and take some pictures.

This car has already been sold, but they're still leaving it out on the floor. Fine by me.

I kind of wish either the whole canopy was black, or the A-pillars were body-colored.

Here in WI too.

But as far as I know, most manufacturers do not charge for the bracket, and on high end cars we do not install them unless the customer asks, as most of them involve drilling holes in bumpers.

I've owned C5's and C6's. I thought I was done with Corvettes. Nope. I will definitely own a C7. But after owning previous Corvettes, I've learned a couple important things.

1) Never buy the first year. Let all the "gotta have it firsts" buy them and pay the ADP markups.

2) All the "gotta have it firsts" WILL buy them and find all the annoying "bugs" GM didn't work out, then GM will fix them over the next couple years. So, I'll buy it in about the late 2nd into 3rd model year. Price will be at a point where you can get a deal at one of the volume corvette dealers and *most" of the bugs will be fixed. I say most, because GM *never* fixes all of 'em.
